Architect's Drawings and Custom Fabrication

We have been so immersed in this project for the last 2 months that I have forgotten to share it with you. I told my shop foreman (Jim) not to let me forget again. he said he would do his best.

Anyway, this is a picture of the architect's drawing for a new home in Maryland. We have color coded the drawing for the different types of stone that they are using on the project. The pink is custom cut bluestone for banding, steps and wall caps. The green is green granite tiles for interior flooring. The yellow is black granite pavers for the exterior patios. The blue is for black granite for the fireplaces.

We used this drawing and templates provided by the general contractor to fabricate the stone. The final delivery for the exterior stone was made yesterday. We beat mother nature on this one!

This is going to be a beautiful stone retreat. All work is in progress so pictures should be available next spring. If you can't wait to see this beautiful stone work, visit our design center at http://photos.stoneyard.com/ , we have many completed projects there that will wet your appetite and give you ideas to make your dreams become a reality.

Enjoy the rest of the week and the holiday season.
