What If, Mother Nature and Custom Fabrication

I was reading an article where the author wrote about the power of innovation. He stated that many innovations are founded by two simple words…”What if?”

In the article he asked the question “What if we can make this as good as Mother Nature?” I understand where he was going, but that is not the direction I ended up at. Everyday in the stone industry people are always asking “What if we can make this as good as Mother Nature?” Their assumption is that if they can then this will propel their company to success and wealth. I see man made products that try to replicate stone everyday, and I always ask “Why this?” If you have the real thing at your disposal, why would you want to use an imitation? If I can get real stone for my project why would I settle for a man made cement product? I can’t answer that question.

What I can answer is why Stoneyard.com only deals with natural stone products. If it doesn’t come from Mother Nature then I won’t deal with it. This makes my mission very easy. I provide only natural stone products at a fair price with customer service that is second to none. Not only do I sell natural stone products, but I also custom fabricate stone to your specific requirements.

My custom fabrication shop in Littleton, Ma is equipped to handle whatever you can dream up. The only catch is that I will only deal with natural stone. I have 20 years of experience dealing with stone, so there isn’t much that I haven’t seen. Let me help you with your custom fabrication. Currently my shop is cutting stone for a chimney cap, fireplace hearth, wall caps and treads for steps. Our next projects include pool coping, windowsills, thresholds and other specialty pieces for commercial and residential construction projects.

It’s nice to know that what you deal with is the best. The best form of flattery is imitation. I guess Mother Nature should be flattered, because everyday someone new tries to imitate what she does so very well.

I have included a few pictures that highlight how I have taken what Mother Nature has given us and used it to meet your needs and requirements.

I hope you enjoy the pictures. I know the owners are enjoying the beauty, quality and durability that natural stone has provided them.

If you want the best forget about the rest and use natural stone.

You will be happy with your decision everyday.
