Bluestone Pavers

I want to take some time to tell you about my thermal bluestone pavers. The material is a very nice blue/gray color with some sand swirls in the stone which gives it some added life. The sizing of the pavers are 12 x 12, 12 x 18, 12 x 24, 18 x 18, 18 x 24, 24 x 24 and 24 x 36.
Because the pavers come in seven sizes they can be installed in many different patterns. Check out the paver layout section on my website for different patterns and designs for your walkway or patio.
Random layouts are also available if you are looking for something that is a little different.
Talk to one of my sales reps for help on getting a random layout for your project.

The really nice feature about these pavers is the uniformity in size and thickness. The pavers are a very consistent 1.5 inches thick.
One of my dealers told me that he installed these pavers in the same way that he installs concrete pavers. He levelled out the base and started dropping in the bluestone. Because the thickness was consistent he did not have to spend much time raising and lowering pieces so that the tops were level and on the same plane. He told me that he installed the same square footage of these pavers as he does with the concrete man-made pavers.
The big difference that he noted was that the bluestone looked real and natural and would maintain its color and texture for years. Bluestone does not fade because it is the same color throughout the entire thickness of the stone. It may take on a little dirt from its surroundings, but that can be remedied with a little soapy water and a nice clean rinse. After that the stone is back to its original look.

What I like best about this stone is that it can be used for many different applications. The obvious applications are any of the horizontal ones. Walkways, patios, steppers and steps to name a few. The stone can also be installed as a veneer in a vertical application. At 1.5 inches thick, it weighs a little more than 16 lbs/sf so it will require a footing for support. The pieces can be used as they come in squares and rectangles, or they can be broken to give a broken ice mosaic look.

This stone can also be used as coping for pools, capping for walls, sills and lintels for construction and hearths and mantles for fireplaces. If the 1.5 inch thickness is not enough, I can provide the same material in 2 inch thick pieces.

This product is my most popular product for paving, coping, capping, steps and many other specialty applications. Its versatility and ease of workability make it a great choice for many applications. Its color, strength and texture make it a popular choice for many homeowners.

Give it a try for your next stone project.

You will enjoy its long lasting durability and beauty.
