A New Twist on a Ledgestone Fireplace

Boston Blend has long been thought of as colonial or rustic. This Ledgestone Boston Blend fireplace is anything but. The modern clean lines are brought to the next level with a unique "twist". A blend of Greenwich Gray (25%) and Boston Blend (75%) Ledgestone Building Veneer was used to create the perfect mix of colors.

Choosing the right blend of colors and shapes can be a difficult process. Working closely with your mason through the beginning stages of construction will ensure that the end result is exactly what you envision. The best way to decide on the correct blend of shapes, sizes, grout thickness and color, and stone colors is by having your mason do a mockup. Laying the stones out on a small area and adjusting the different variables is the only way to get that perfect blend.

This tall fireplace goes from floor to ceiling. The top section was twisted on an angle for some added architectural interest.
